Who We Are

heARTists is a collaborative platform where survivors of painful experiences join with artists to honor  stories of trauma, abuse, and injustice with works of art, compassion, and empowerment.

Who Are The Survivors?

We define survivors as all who have experienced any form of mental or emotional pain, including that caused by physical, social, and/or psychological injury. In this sense, we are all survivors.

Types of stories include but not limited to:

  • Depression

  • Bullying and abuse

  • MeToo

  • Isolation and neglect

  • Loss and death

  • COVID-related emotional pain
